The Warwick
- In a new joint venture with Bomac (UK), Northacre secured a contract to acquire the former West London Empress Telephone Exchange site in December 2007
- This is one of four major sites comprising a gateway residential village of over 5 acres for development in the central zone of The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea
- The planning brief and master plan to create this new residential eco village was formally adopted in early 2008
- Northacre's planning submission comprises all the components of a high quality designed, mixed use, residential scheme, including four medium rise apartment buildings for private, shared ownership and affordable housing, hard and soft public open spaces, landscaped linear park and underground parking
- Northacre's scheme also looks to target 20% renewable energy as well as achieving an ECO homes excellence rating category four
- In conjunction with these adjoining sites, Kensington's new eco village will incorporate all the amenities and facilities of a new modern residential scheme whilst reviving and breathing a new lease of life into this important area in the centre of Kensington
